Jack Daniel’s is Tennessee Whiskey. Although most Tennessee whiskeys meet the criteria to be classified as Bourbon, they are called Tennessee Whiskey. Aged in new, charred oak barrels (a process that gives the Bourbon its reddish color and distinctive taste) at no more than 62.5%
